Triumphant Entertainment Announces the Release of ‘The Crypt’

SCOTTSDALE, AZ UNITED STATES

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ — Triumphant Entertainment announced today that it will release the horror feature “The Crypt” on DVD August 11th in the United States and Canada. A feature film by internationally known filmmaker Craig McMahon, it had a limited theatrical release in select cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, and Phoenix this summer.

“The Crypt’s” central theme surrounds a gang of six young criminals who set out to steal a cache of jewelry and soon find themselves trapped in a dark maze of crypts and catacombs. The movie features Sarah Oh, Mike Ranallo ( “Paradise Hotel” ), Abra May and Joanna Ke ( “Red Corvette,” “References”).

Filmed in the summer of 2008, the story was produced by Cecil Chambers and McMahon. “The Crypt” is a brutal depression era horror story that finds six young criminals realizing some things are better left buried. “Lionsgate has distributed his last 3 films, and I found Craig to be a terrific director. ‘The Crypt’ delivers,” states Cecil Chambers. R. Montgomery. AZ Weekly says, “Thrills and chills abound in this well made horror flick.”

Craig McMahon, whose filmography includes “Sportkill,” “Orville,” and a fall 2009 Lionsgate release of “Machined Reborn,” holds the position of CEO for Post Reel Pictures in Scottsdale, Arizona where the film was made. The soundtrack for “The Crypt” is available on iTunes.
